Benefits of MSPDSPP Internships
Help with Money
We cover travel and give stipends for in-person internships. Because of COVID-19, we now have virtual internships, too, with a small payment.
Lots of Options
The DOE has offices and labs all over the country. MSPDSPP interns can talk about STEM, policies, business, or government at these places.
Join the Minority STEM Partnership Program!
As a research analyst at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, we delved into fungal DNA sequences, a fascinating journey in Tennessee. We also helped organize a big conference in Washington, DC, about nuclear energy and cooperation, under the Office of Nuclear Energy at DOE Headquarters.
Collaboration Across the Nation
We teamed up with nuclear experts from places like Sandia National Laboratory in Albuquerque, Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California.
Grow Personally and Professionally
We offer workshops to boost your skills and make you more appealing to future employers. Learn about time management, professional identity, communication, and resume writing to excel in your career.
Build Your Network
Connect with professionals from DOE and its labs, opening doors to exciting career paths. Engage in activities, trips, and meetings to explore your options every day.
